The Vertical Project

The Vertical Project, one of the top selling vertical jump programs of all time, has just announced a Limited Time Offer of $23.77. The price is changed on June 10th to $97. The regular price is $197, so RUN, don’t walk to get this one. It is still a steal for the 400-page manual and software. f you want to jump higher and increase your vertical, read my review of The Vertical Project below:

The Vertical Project guarantees a minimum vertical leap gain 8 inches in the first 8 weeks — or get a full refund and a $100 bill. No vertical jump program can match that guarantee.

Program Details

The Vertical Project is designed to help you maximize your vertical leap. This 15 week jumping course consists of three modules.

  1. Training
  2. Recovery
  3. Getting Started

The Training Module of The Vertical Project is loaded with diagrams, videos, and information. Here you get the exercises and training routines — all with the right techniques. As is often touted on The Vertical Project website, you will get the mathematically correct rep, set, and rest calculations specially designed for your weight, size, and athleticism.  The Vertical Project incorporates both new and old techniques into the exercise plan. Some old techniques: plyometrics, isometrics; Newer techniques: water plyometrics. Finally, there is a “tension release” secret that helps achieve immediate vertical leap gains.

The second module of The Vertical Project is the Recovery Module, where you learn how to rest. Most people have no idea of the value of resting. It is critical that you allow your body to rest if you want to properly build muscles. The Vertical Project is loaded with goods on how & when to rest. The diet advice is good but there is a *supplement* section that I ignored entirely. I do not like supplements, particularly those that have not undergone major testing. This is a downside of The Vertical Project, but if you ignore the supplements, the rest of the program will allow you to achieve your desired results.

The third module of The Vertical Project is the Getting Started Module. It starts where the Training Module & Recovery Module left off by creating a jump exercise program for you. You’ll get 9 different vertical-enhancing modes of training included in The Vertical Project program. There are three phases of 5 weeks each, which help reduce plateaus, boredom, and relaxation. You get The Vertical Project templates to chart your workouts and measure your progress. The variety of exercises is what I liked best about The Vertical Project. You get exercises based on “Dead-Start”, isometric training, true plyometrics, water plyometrics, “Tension-Release” exercises, and partial & strong-range movements. You don’t plateau like you might in similar vertical jump programs, because the program is broken into 3 phases.

Bottom line is that The Vertical Project is a good program. As stated before, I do not like supplements section and I think the price is a bit excessive now the price has been set to only $97.00. But the guarantee takes care of that. If you have the money, The Vertical Project is worth checking out.
